Gagal’ba, a great place to meet!
Chancellor State College students and staff from Years 4-12 came together for the first time in our new multi-purpose centre, Gagal’ba. They recognised the hard work and great contribution of all those who helped to bring this huge project and beautiful gathering place to fruition.
The P&C Association provided financial support to enable hall enhancements and upgrades, including the provision of 1000 retractable seats, a timber sprung floor and stage flooring for dance and drama events, and a much upgraded sound and lighting system. We are the only Queensland school with a stadium that has a spring timber floor!
This great Multi-purpose Hall will be a vital asset to both our College and the whole Sippy Downs community, with hire opportunities. Chancellor State College thanked everyone for their continuing hard work and commitment to being The Best We Can Be.
We look forward to sharing many more celebrations in this wonderful space in the years to come.
